Food for Thought
Tuesdays, 09/28/2010
What if the way to experiencing a perfect body didn’t come from your diet, exercise plan, list of alternative treatments, or the mirror?... Just some food for thought.
What if that one part of your body that you don’t like is actually your greatest gift?... Just some food for thought.
What if it is what makes your body luscious?... Just some food for thought.
This 4 part class for women, based on the book Women Food and God by Geneen Roth, will focus on learning to appreciate our bodies even the parts we dislike. We will discover ways to make peace with ourselves, not war. We will learn ways to allow diet, exercise, the mirror, etc. to be a healthy part of our daily lives not the dictators of our self esteem.
Days: Tuesdays
Dates: Sept 28, Oct 5, 12, 19
Cost: $100 for the 4 part series
