Child's hand inside older person's hand

Self Empowerment Group

Every Other Monday, Starting 09/13/10

5:30 to 7:00

Self empowerment means being able to stay present for yourself in your life. It means exploring what you believe in, holding what is true for you and acknowledging and exploring your challenges with humor and commitment.

We meet two times a month and, using Charlotte Kasl’s template of the 16 steps to empowerment, we do exercises that help us explore our lives step by step.

Exciting processing group where you will:
• learn to stop being dependent on other people, places, events and substances for your self-esteem and security,
• discover who you really are when you are not depending on others to define you and your gifts,
• define what will bring purpose and meaning to your life,
• learn how to take care of yourself, and
• experience your life true to your spirit and heart!

Facilitators: Suzy Newman & Susan Beyler
Cost: $50 per meeting
Dates: Sept 13 & 27, Oct 11 & 25, Nov 8 & 22, Dec 6 & 20
