Anna Durham

Anna Durham brings over 50 years of knowledge, study and life experience to the Estuary staff. She has a BA from Vanderbilt University where she studied psychology and majored in political science. Elsewhere she has completed post graduate courses. She has studied at the School of Healing Arts for eleven years, has been ordained and is a certified pastoral counselor.

She was one of the founders and served on the Board of Directors of the Sumner County Mental Health Association for many years, which later became Cumberland Mental Health Services, and served as president from 1983-85. More recently she was on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Mental Health Association.

She has been a life long student of the works of Rudolf Steiner, a German scientist-metaphysician, with particular interest in the Waldorf Schools, which he founded.

Anna generously devotes herself to the free healing clinics offered at the Estuary as a volunteer healer. She describes her role as a healer as one who facilitates a state of profound relaxation and through entrainment with the healer brings the client in closer connection with his/her highest self.

Anna can be reached by telephone at 615-467-6462.
